29ers Crushing It in Japan

I work on the marketing side of things for Fisher. One of the things I hear is that small people can’t ride 29ers. Hrrmmphh, I say.

Check out our friend Ken Onodera, Japanese rider on the Subaru-Gary Fisher team. Ken’s a small feller with a big motor. He won the recent Japanese National mountain bike race on his Fisher Superfly 29. He killed it. Multiple minute gap on the competition  in a hilly, muddy course. He bested a former Olympian along the way. That was the first national victory on a 29er. Nice job Ken.

Ken rides a 15.5″ Superfly. His antics on the race course will really help 29er acceptance in Japan if he keeps crushing it on his Superfly. Thanks Ken for the 29er diplomacy.
