July is an American month.  There can be no better way to celebrate America than riding and racing as much as possible.  There is no greater freedom than riding a mountain bike on National Forest land, linking up huge loops through vast swaths of protected forests.  With mountain biking only getting more fun, and the number of enthusiasts only increasing, I can think of no reason why the long-term prospects of mountain biking should not be ever more enthralling.  Mountain biking is a symbol of freedom and a symbol of America.  There is no better place on Earth.
