Still riding at eight months.
Trish and I made it to the Snake Creek Gap TT last weekend. I have a secret weapon these days; the motivation provided by a baby on the way. My sister Willow and I both set course records on the 34 mile point to point section of the Pinhoti trail. It was a good confidence booster and a boost to the bank account with a generous $750 top prize male and female. With a best of three race format spread over Jan, Feb, and March, there is no better training series out there. I went from a 3:03 last year to a 2:36 this year. It could be the course, maybe the bike, but definately something going on in those legs. The Pinhoti trail is a classic East coast rocky ridgeline. The stuff that will frustrate a lot of pro weenies. Put it on the scheldule next year if you can.
