My week in photos
As lame as it may sound I have been a little too busy to write a post lately. I won’t make any excuses since the only thing any one will believe is that I’ve been riding my bike–and I’m not sure that can really be considered an excuse.
I suddenly realized that the 6 hour race, The Highland Hex, I planned on doing solo is Saturday, this is my first race of the season so I haven’t quite got the prep thing into full swing. I plan on starting tonight, another reason I don’t have time for a real post:) Enjoy the photos and a real post will follow the race.
Maria, Lauren, and Karen on the Saturday Morning Women’s Ride that I lead every Sat.
The camp fire on Saturday night at the MPH. Chris, Eric, Bert, Mark and I enjoyed an amazing night ride followed by a huge fire, s’mores, and camping.
Oh yeah, there was some serious rockin’ out with the tools.
Bert telling us that he feels good and can build trails, for the record his shovel he carried around only held him up.
Mark, Curt and Chris ripping the trails at the MPH.
Mark and Curt railing a corner through wildflowers (Trilium, I think?) at the MPH. This is probably my favorite trail network at the MPH, it always has amazing wildflowers growing around it.
Mark and I at Hector Falls, we made a brief stop on our way around Seneca Lake yesterday to admire the falls. We battled a headwind for the first half of the ride and then enjoyed the easy tailwind home.

Suzanne,
Definitely Trillium…awesome to see that many in one place…I hope to get to the shop soon to test ride a few road bikes….still recovering from a crash after I cased the jump overlooking Casey’s yard…probably see you at the 24…
