Worms, trails and other things
Spring is nearly here as you can tell from this little guy I dodged on the road while riding Tuesday morning with Mark. This is the first worm I’ve spotted this year.
It makes for a more interesting ride when there are things in the road to look for and dodge or hop. I spent most of Tuesday riding circles around Mark, mostly because he flatted twice and kept dropping his sunglasses, but it is still fun too say because it doesn’t happen that often. We rode a whopping 12 miles, but I didn’t care I was to busy peeling layers since it was 55. The warmest we’ve seen in a while, I didn’t have to wear my school bus jacket to stay warm!
Wednesday was a day of working on our website and fitting in a short road ride, Mark got some great video. Hopefully he’ll post it soon. Thursday we piled into the car and went to the MPH to ride some trails. C-dog was so excited to actually get to go riding.
The trails weren’t too bad considering the time of year. It was slow moving because of all the fallen sticks and we got a good ride in before heading into work. My bike is amazing. I got it for x-mas and haven’t really been able to ride it much except in snow. It was nice to see how it feels on fast, dry, frozen dirt. We followed it up with some great dinner and the usual night time activity…I stretched while Mark played some Playstation. This weekend seems to be shaping up to some good ol’ shenanigans on and off the bike, I’ll let you know how it all plays out.
