I was actually able to get out and ride the HiFi twice this weekend. It was my first time out on my new brakes. Mark pimped my ride for my 30th birthday earlier this month and I am the proud new owner of a set of Hope Minis. These aren’t any ordinary set of Hopes, check out all the fine details in the photos. The brakes are amazing, by far the best modulation compared to any Hayes or Shimano I’ve ridden.

Easter Weekend 08

The brakes were better than the trails…snow, ice, mud and a load of downfall from all the ice storms made it a little slow going. However, Mark and I were able to drag out a pretty good crew of riders for our Easter ride; Casey, Val, Jason, Jim and of course Cadence and Lizzy. No spottings of the Easter bunny though.
