Blast from the past

Here’s a little shot from the wayback machine.

There is me and the wife on our way to winning our first Wild 100 in Slatyfork, WV. Gauly Mountain is always a rough neck of the woods, and the right bike can really shine in these conditions. What kind of conditions you may ask. Try rocks, roots, mud. True east coast riding. I used to only get into this area with a full suspension bike until I started running a 29. Big wheels eat more stuff.

Boy I thought that Marzocchi Marathon was the bees knees until the Reba came out. Best we had back in the day.
