jesse and i made it to fayetteville, tn yesterday after  just one wrong turn. as we hit the missouri state line i thought, i are we supposed to go through  missouri? after a back road detour we were back on track.

preride today had us climbing over 1200 feet on the ten mile lap. very twisty and rocky singletrack with rock littered doubletrack connecting. clay has got quite the compound here and its sure to be a delightful time. the actual race details are being kept under wraps until tomorrow. all weve gathered so far is that there will be one or more laps of the course. this round will filter out some people. then there will be two rounds following that involve some “stupid human tricks”. these rounds may or may not involve beer, whiskey, and donkeys. time will tell.
