Bontrager Dry-X 1.75 tubeless ready…
So after reading in VeloNews about JHK riding the 1.8 Jones tires on his Superfly, I decided to give a skinny tire a shot. I went for the Dry-X’s in the 29×1.75 size. After a few rides and a little toying around with tire pressure I can tell you I’m very impressed with these tires! Around here in the Northeast, race courses have very diverse terrain, ranging from super-fast hardpack singletrack to unrideable boulder fields and everything in between. I’ve raced these at Fair Hills with great results and plan on using them for the next few races in the H2H series. I run them at 30 psi and they hook up just as well as the larger version in corners. The larger contact patch of a 29inch wheel gives it plenty of bite climbing and braking. And without even saying it, you know they roll super-fast!! Try a set of these, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised…

I couldn’t agree more about the skinny tires from bontrager, they work great here in indiana. We have a good mix of terrain with roots, rocks, loose and hardpack. Excellent grip cornering and even standing while climbing.
