At least we didn’t get the snow
I barely survived yesterdays ride. Note to self: Don’t trust the temp in the car.
I headed out yesterday on the paragon. It’s running double duties as my road bike and as the mtb until the Superfly arrives
The car read 40, but the actual was more around 25 or so. With the wind blowing like crazy, I headed out to do some hill reps. Whacked those out (but not with ease). Headin up the hill and sweating, then riding back down; I was getting a good chill. Add up that I was a little underdressed, it was damn cold. I came close to pulling the plug and bailing as I couldn’t even feel the ol fingers. Luckily, the Geneva Bicycle Center was open late. Dived in and warmed up. After a few minutes I was good to go, and managed to make it home. All my fingers and toes intact.
Today, properly dressed, I managed to head out on the roads again. Put in a few good solid efforts. I could still feel yesterdays hill repeats, but I was feeling pretty solid nonetheless. I enjoyed the 4 hours in the sunshine (but not the wind!). I snapped some pics, but I can’t ever find the friggin cable to upload the shots.

Looking forward to tomorrow’s early am ride on the frozen tundra trails of fellow 29er crew members; Mark & Suzanne Hartman. Hit the dirt till it thaws, and then probably put in a few hours on the road.
Time to prep for tomorrow…and maybe look for that camera cable
