As always the mtb season takes forever to get here.  I have been faithfully plugging away at the pedals and having a blast doing it.  The dirt is just starting to thaw and dry out which means miles of carbon fiber fun will be had on the Superfly SS.  I feel great on the bike, and have been logging more miles than last spring without any knee meet tree type of problems.  I should have a lot of fun at Yankee Springs TT.  Just for fun I decided to enter a road TT, aerobars and the like are kind of foreign to me, but after playing with a buddies TT bike for a few hours this week I decided to give it a shot.  I ended up first in my age group and 2nd overall for a surprising result.  I also caught wind of a dominating performance from fellow 29er crew, the Simonster, in Barry Roubaix yesterday.  It’s an honor to share the jersey with all of you for another year.  Now its back to being patient…sort of.
