How much do a dozen eggs cost?

Thats not the sort of question you start asking yourself in the middle of a 8 hour mountain bike race, but sitting there with Gray Fisher is seamed a normal everyday question to ask.

 Gary had popped over to the UK to lend a hand and race with the UK arm of the 29er crew. With Elite rider Phil away getting hitched, we were a man down and Gary stepped into Phil shoes.

 I would like to say that we did him proud and gave him a taste of a British Podium, but we were knocked back into 4th and out of the prizes. The team were not disheartened though as the pint of beer handed out to every rider on the line was very welcome, and the drinking carried on late into the night.

 So in short sorry Gary. Maybe next time you are here we can get the win.
