29ers galore
So with the sun coming out yesterday and drying up the trails from Fridays ran I decided to head out to the local trailhead to rip it up for a few hours. After a good ride with some of my old teammates we headed back to the parking lot to get some much needed nutrition, to find that the parking lot was covered with cars. Being that I live in a more road oriented cycling community, this kinda came as a shock to us. I saw my bosses car from the shop and decided to hang around to see who all showed up. After a few minutes they all began to roll into the parking lot, and as a Fisher 29er representative, an avid bike fan, and also as a shop mechanic, I was excited to see that out of the 7 riders who rolled into the parking lot, only 2 of those to be on those little wheeled contraptions some people call mountain bikes. So including my group and the other group we had a total of 9 29ers ripping up the trails. 5 Superflys, a rig, a supercaliber, and a Hi-Fi Plus, the other guy was on an IF, but I gotta give him props for the custom bling and repping the 29er cause. So it is safe to say that down here in the dirty south, Anniston, AL, we are representing the Fisher 29er revolution. Big props to Wig’s Wheels down here in Anniston for pushing these bad azz bikes and getting the word out on Fisher bicycles.
