This is a view of the Great Smoky Mountains atop route 441 while on my way to the next race at Tsali in North Carolina.

This race turned out to be much nicer than the previous one in Tennessee.  Although it did rain approximately an inch the day before the race, it dried up quite nicely for Sunday.  I am happy to say that I had another podium finish, this time in third.  And what a great course Tsali turned out to be.  I have never been there before, so it was all a new experience for me.  The trails there are super fast, and you even climb fast too!

I had a good time, meeting new people, making new friends and even running into some old friends.

Congrats to fellow teammates Sam and Brandon on your podium finish and wins also.
