What an exciting day for me finishing first yesterday at my first race of the season, Chickasaw Trace Classic, an AMBC in Columbia, TN.

The rain and mud may have favored me as my goals were lower than the outcome. Funny thing is that we traveled to Tennesee to get away from the rain and mud! It ended up worth the trip. I have a little more confidence now as the season begins and am anxious to try new venues.

I also got to meet one of my new team mates Brandon Curtis of AL who also had a great finish - 3rd in the Expert men 20-29. Congratulations!
