The First of Many Paragon Weekends

This saturday my Paragon was finally built and ready to ride! This weekend was perfect for testing this new stallion with temps in the mid 50’s and 60’s. Once seeing my new rig i couldn’t wait to go for an official test ride so I i did a quick little mess around in the parking lot behind my house before hand.

  The Bike

Of course the parking lot consisted of rapid turns, stops, accelerations, and of course wheelies and bunny hops over parking barriers. This little simple silly mess around began to show me how well the bike handles and what its potential.

Finally out on the official test ride I was amazed at how well 29er’s handle and feel. I felt more one with the bike rather just its rider. The bike climbs, turns, and reacts better than any bike that I have ever ridden. I threw everything i could at this bike ranging from loose gravel turns, fallen trees, wet roots, steep inclines, and even a beach, needless to say the paragon flew over all of it with out a loosing control or traction. My planed 1 hour test ride turned into a 4 hour event! In the end the paragon met all my expectations and more. Still a few little kings to work out and a proper fitting and this bike will be race worthy, which will have to be soon seeing that the first race here in the Midwest is April 20th!

Also, for any of you who happen to live in the midwest area the first MTB race of the year is “Do the Rock” in Rockford IL which is close to the Wisconsin border. This is a great course and race to kick the season off with! for more info go to: http://www.rctrailcrew.org/
